Casino tells winner slot machine jackpot was error

A woman who won £7,600 on a slot machine in a US casino, was told she wouldn’t be paid because the machine was in demonstration mode.Debra Hughes thought she had won the money at a slot machine in a casino in Tulalip, Washington State.But resort officials told her the jackpot was mistake. Technicians put machines in demo mode to test them after they have been serviced. They are supposed to be switched back before customers use them.The casino is refusing to pay, but slot machine maker Multimedia Games is promising to pay the jackpot. Company CEO Clifton Lind says they’ll give Ms Hughes the money.
